Pastels for Beginners

2 day or longer Pastels are easy to use once the technique has been mastered. In this workshop students will explore hard and soft pastels, a variety of different brands, conte and pastel pencils. Different types of paper will be used to demonstrate the various results. We will look at shading, blending, line and colour mix. The use of kneadable rubbers for removing and blending pastel. This is a lovely medium to work in as long as you don't mind getting a bit messy. Materials list on request. Fee $350-00 per day plus travel, meals and accommodation.
